README Review

Use this before considering a README rewrite complete.

Questions

  • does this still describe the whole project?
  • would a newcomer understand what ORCA is?
  • is one feature taking too much space?
  • is install and getting started clear?
  • is the README too long for a top-level entry page?
  • should any section move into dedicated docs?
  • does the page help both users and contributors find the next right place?
  • does the README reflect the strongest recurring work shown by the vault and live artifacts?
  • did we keep the framing grounded without turning it into autobiography?
  • did generic AI-framework language creep in where evidence-backed language should have been used?

Good Outcome

The README should help a reader:

  • understand ORCA quickly
  • decide whether it is relevant
  • start using it
  • find the correct deeper docs
  • leave with a believable picture of the work ORCA is actually built to support
